Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September of 1983 in Worthington, Ohio, is an American actress. Maggie Grace is most well-known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well on ABC's Lost television series. After the divorce of her parents her parents separated, she moved to Worthington Ohio in order to settle with her family in Los Angeles. They were struggling to get by when she got her first acting role in Rachel's Room's leading character. Following her win of an Young Artist Award in 2002 due to her role in Murder on the streets of Greenwich of 15 year aged Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace was able to win. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. The show featured her as the principal character for two seasons and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was keen to pursue film following her role as Tom Welling's character in The Fog, in 2005. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The actress reprised her character as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern version to the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to Shannon's character on Lost for two episodes. This included the final episode of the series. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the 6th season. She is Faith as a girl who acts as a muse to the stars and catches the eye from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family and is the elder cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager, she played small parts in the films of her father and was co-starring with her twin brother on Donnie Darko which is a cult classic. She then appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win an Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) and the love story Secretary (2002). The two films were critically acclaimed. In the wake of several successful commercial films such as World Trade Center in 2006 she gained greater recognition when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). In the wake of her performance that was a hit as a single mother in Crazy Heart (2009), she received the Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The following years she was a part of comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee & the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012. In addition to her role as an agent of the Secret Service agent, she was also seen in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014). One of her latest roles included the protagonist of the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal was the writer and director of her first feature film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The thriller that dealt with psychological issues was awarded the Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The Lost Daughter was also nominated for The Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
