Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she moved to Oxfordshire at the age of five, Emma was enrolled in the Dragon School. At the age of six, Emma decided she would like to become an actress and for some time she studied at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theater school, where she learned performing and singing. It was already her turn to perform in various Stagecoach and school productions when she was 10 years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the movie version to J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel was cast for the very first second time back in 1999. Emma was discovered by casting agents through Emma's Oxford theatre instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. The film set records for the opening day sales as well as opening week-end take-offs and was the highest-grossing film of 2001. Critics praised the film and the performances of the three leading young actors. The Daily Telegraph, an important British paper, called Emma's acting "amazing". Emma's performance won her a nomination and was awarded five more times in the film.
