Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is born in Romania and is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. She is best known for her role as the protagonist of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already been offered a variety of television roles which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. She was praised for her performance on Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge.
