Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the only child to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she was sixteen.
